    Andrea Bunt received a best papers award at the ACM SIGCHI Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems (CHI 2012) for her paper entitled "Improving Command Selection with CommandMaps"

  • Paper Featured on IEEE Transactions

    The paper "Performance Analysis of Cloud Computing Centers Using M/G/m/m+r Queuing Systems" by Hamzeh Khazaei (PhD student) and Dr. J. Misic and Dr. V. Misic has been chosen as the spotlight paper for the May 2012 issue of the IEEE Transactions on Parallel and Distributed Systems.

  • Startup Weekend Winnipeg

    When: August 10, 2012 @ 12:00am

    Startup Weekend is an intense 54 hour event which focuses on building a web or mobile application which could form the basis of a credible business over the course of a weekend. The weekend brings together people with different skillsets - primarily software developers, graphics designers and business people - to build applications and develop a commercial case around them.
